Coaching is for Everyone. Mountain biking is a skill intensive sport. No less than skiing, rock climbing or kayaking. To have fun, ride well and be safe you have to have a set of fundamental skills in you corner. We help riders gain those skills.
From novice riders with little/no experience to riders with years of riding, a skills clinic can be a great benefit. Mountain biking is more than simply "riding a bike".
Skills and Maneuvers. What's the difference?
To put it simply,Skills are the building blocks for maneuvers. For example. Knowing how to use your brakes correctly is a skill. Using your brakes in addition to other skills such as body positioning, timing, directional control and terrain awareness are all components that you use to corner at high speed. Hitting a corner at high speed in a maneuver. At EBG we believe everyone, EVERYONE, should take our Fundamental Skills Clinic. Whether an experienced rider or total beginner, we find almost everyone lacks some of the fundamental skills required to be the best they can be. This doesn't mean one is a "bad" rider. Just that there are a few things many of us can do that will make us better riders!
Clinics are flexible and can be tailored to whatever topic(s) you need or want to cover.
Hourly Instruction Time. 2hr Minimums.
You can buy a bike, you can build lungs and legs but all this is temporary. Skill is something that is your's to keep.
